Understand how GPU instance billing works on SynpixCloud
Overview
SynpixCloud uses a prepaid billing model. When you create a GPU instance, the full rental amount is deducted from your account balance immediately. This ensures transparent pricing with no surprise charges.
Billing Cycles
Choose the billing cycle that best fits your workload:

For a GPU priced at $0.50/hour:

Minimum Billing
- Minimum charge: 1 hour
- Rounding: Usage is rounded up to the nearest hour
If you terminate an instance after 10 minutes, you will be charged for 1 full hour. If you use an instance for 2 hours and 15 minutes, you will be charged for 3 hours.
Auto-Renewal
When Auto-Renewal is enabled:
- Your instance automatically renews when the rental period ends
- The renewal amount is deducted from your account balance
- Renewal continues until your balance is insufficient
- Same billing cycle and duration applies to each renewal
Example: You rent a GPU for 1 day with auto-renewal enabled. After 24 hours, if your balance is sufficient, another day is automatically charged and your instance continues running.
Instance Termination
When you terminate an instance:
- Early Termination: Unused prepaid time is not refunded
- Minimum 1 Hour: Even if terminated immediately, minimum 1 hour is charged
- Running Instances: Continue to incur charges until terminated
Always terminate instances when not in use to avoid unnecessary charges.
Balance & Top-up
- Minimum top-up: $5.00
- Payment methods: Credit card via Stripe
- Balance display: Available in your dashboard
Insufficient Balance
If your balance is insufficient:
- Creating instances: You cannot create new instances
- Auto-renewal: Renewal fails and instance may be stopped
- Running instances: Will continue until the prepaid period ends
Pricing Transparency
All prices shown in the GPU marketplace are:
- Per-hour base rates (before any discounts)
- In USD
- Inclusive of all fees (no hidden charges)
Actual prices may vary based on:
- Selected billing cycle (daily/monthly discounts)
- Rental duration
- Current availability
Refund Policy
- Unused time: Not eligible for refund after instance creation
- Account credits: Non-refundable, non-transferable
- Service issues: Contact support for resolution
